1. Who we are
EduPrac ("we", "us", "our") is an educational practice platform (free to use during beta) based in Australia. This Privacy Policy explains how EduPrac handles information when you use our website at www.eduprac.com.
2. Information we collect
When you create an EduPrac account, we collect and store your email address and your learning progress (which skills you've practised and your results). This information is stored securely in our cloud database, provided by Supabase.
You can use your first few worksheets without an account. Once you create one — which is free during our beta — the information above is stored so your progress is saved across sessions and devices.
Your account data is protected by row-level security, which means each account can only access its own information — no user can see another user's data. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers.
When you use the contact form or email us directly, we receive the information you voluntarily provide (your name and email address) solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
3. Analytics and advertising
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited). Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it is cookieless, collects only aggregate data, and does not track or identify individual users. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising-based tracking tools.
We do not use advertising networks, marketing trackers, or cross-site tracking technologies, and we never sell or share your information with advertisers.
4. Children's privacy
EduPrac is designed for use by Australian school students and their families. We take children's privacy seriously and have structured the platform accordingly:
- We collect only the minimum needed to run the service — an account email and learning progress.
- Students can practise their first few worksheets anonymously; continuing requires a free account (email only).
- We do not serve targeted advertising, build advertising profiles of children, or sell or share children's data.
- Account data (email and progress) is stored securely in our cloud database and protected so each account can only access its own data.

5. Local storage
We use browser localStorage to provide a seamless experience. This includes:
- Your selected country/region preference
- Your worksheet progress before you sign in
- Sound and display preferences
- Onboarding preferences
You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage through your browser settings. This will reset your progress and preferences on EduPrac.
6. Third-party services
Our website is hosted on third-party infrastructure (Vercel), and account data is stored with our cloud database provider (Supabase). These providers process data on our behalf so we can run the Service; we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or other third parties.
7. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Access your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
Guest data stored in your browser can be viewed and cleared through your browser settings at any time. For account data stored in our cloud database, you can request access or deletion by emailing us or deleting your account. If you have contacted us by email, you may request that we delete your contact details by emailing hello@eduprac.com.
8. Changes to this policy
EduPrac is currently in beta. As the platform develops, we may update this Privacy Policy; we will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made, and material changes will be noted on this page.
